Om Mai-Britt
I live with my 3 beautiful Bengal cats in a small town called Smørum on the outskirts of Copenhagen. I retired in 2022, and that allowed me to spend all my time getting better at photography.
I started photography in my late fifties, taking some courses at night school. It was not until I joined the photoclub “Klub Key Point” in 2019, where I learned much more about the techniques of photography, that I developed as a photographer. Since then I have followed courses made by some very famous flower photographers – Kathleen Clemons and Eva Polack to mention a few – and I have studied the book “the Art of Flower Photography ” by Anne Belmont in order to develop my photographic skills.
I love to play with different photo and editing techniques, and for the time being this is in camera and out of camera multiple exposure, Pep Ventosa and Adamski effects.
I love taking photos of flowers, wildlife and architecture
